Welcome Zumba 2011

I worked on this blog on New Years Day. I had written quite a lengthy amount and saved the draft. I pulled it up tonight and erased it all.

I had a lot of not so positive things happen in 2010. A lot of family medical issues. Good grief, my husband is lucky that he wasn't seriously injured in the car accident he had. The thought of it turning out any differently than it did still blows my mind.

I met a tremendous amount of new people last year. It has been such a whirlwind and I still struggle with wrapping my mind around it all. Zumba has totally changed me. I am sure that everyone in my life gets so tired of hearing about it. Well, they will just have to get over it. After all, Zumba and I met, fell in love with each other, and plan to spend the rest of our lives together. Hahaha!

I hope that this year is phenomenal.  I hope that it blows 2010 out of the water. My wish is that every single person that I know has come into contact with Zumba at least once. There are many testimonials out there about the unbelievable benefit of it.

Alicia Walker, thank you so much for sharing your love of Zumba with the Facebook world. You are an amazing woman and I aspire to practice more of your habits in my life. I'm hopeful that I will manager to muster up a quarter of your energy and enthusiasm!
Jennifer Murray, thank you so much for being so supportive! It is nice to know that I have some true friends out there! I look forward to many more exciting moments with you, and coffee's!!!

Tiffany, Heather, Lora, Carol, Ann, Lacy, Ashley, Stephanie, Paige, Sara, and if I missed anyone I apologize...thank you for all of the fun and fellowship as we work hard to get healthy! I look forward to building a friendship with all of you beyond what we already have!
I'm so excited for all that is to come in my personal journey this year.

I posted something on my Facebook wall that has deep meaning for me:
"What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built. Not what you got, but what you gave. What will matter is not your success, but your significance. What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught. What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice, that enriched, empowered, or encouraged others to emulate your example. What will matter is not your competence, but your character. What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone. What will matter are not your memories, but the memories that live on in those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered and for what. Living a life that matters does not happen by accident. It happens by choice. Choose my friends to live a life that matters." ~ Dean Butler
